What happened: One of our client is having an issue with his bandwidth. They have taken ** mbps link of Syscon from there ISP. We visited there and troubleshoot below steps:***- Checked speed test with and without Sonicwall, it got download speed ** Mbps and upload speed ** Mbps and ** Mbps download speed and **.** upload speed respectively. *-Also checked speed test with directly connected laptop to Sonicwall's LAN X* interface but still its showing the same speed. *-Disabled*Enabled IPS in Sonicwall, but showing the same speed.*-Sonicwall technical support team took remote session and check the issue. They have suggested to connect Syscon link from sonicwall's X* to X* interface*-or else reset the sonicwall and do the configuration.**We visited next day and troubleshoot these steps:** Before hard reset the SonicWALL, backup has been taken. After reset SonicWALL, backup imported to SonicWALL.*- Link speed was not auto negotiate in firewall all ports.*- ISP link came directly in firewall port without any mediator device.*- Tried to use switch as a mediator device between ISP link and firewall*- In switch no ports are there to use for troubleshooting.*- Customer not agreed today to change switch connections for troubleshooting.**Also Sonicwall technical support team have suggested to connecting an intermediate device like a switch for testing.**Could please explain how to deploy a switch between ISP and Sonicwall with network diagram? and**If I deployed a switch, how can I troubleshoot and understand the issue? Please explain. Thanks in advance.
